Vause/Owens Family

Hi
Just joined, so will get straight to the point!
Looking for my mums aunt & children, all born in accrington/church area.
Ellen Vause married John Galpin, they lived at 30 Edward St Church.
Had 2 children Bryan & Roona Born 1940 & 1941.
Ellen remarried in 1948 to Hugh Owens, had a daughter Yvonne Owens 1951,
Then she emigrated to Australia in 1952, had a daughter there I think Beverley Anne in 1953.
I have found that she went to Australia 3 times! again in 1956, & 1958, with all 4 children.
She married again in Australia to Cecil Chadwick.
I dont know if they all stayed there or may have returned to the area, the last address I found on the passenger list was 5 kingsley Clegg,Dill Hall Estate, which I cant find, this could have been her fathers address Frank Vause, who died in 1970.

All a long time ago I know, but if anyone knew of any of them or whereabouts, very grateful.

Re: Vause/Owens Family

Not an easy task, however these are the only B Galpin's listed in the OZ phone book

whitepages.com.au - Search for an Australian Business, Government or Person

Depends how keen you are to try and find them, a short letter outliinng your quest and copied letter (with your address/email) sent to each address might be the easiest.

Re: Vause/Owens Family

Thanks all for the replys, sorry for not posting sooner been on holiday!
I had traced them to Australia where I found Ellen married again & is Chadwick & Bryan Galpin was Owens on some passenger lists!
The newspaper is a good idea as I know the area of Sydney,
I was just hoping there could have been some relative left behind who nerw them,
Thanks again
Julie
