Are you the Simon Westwell that worked at Woodnook and was in a production of 'Into the Woods' ?

I am indeed. Into the Woods would have been about '94 I think.

Re: who knows the westwells

I am trying to find a lad who started at Accrington Grammar school with me in 1952 - Maurice Kelvin Westwell. Then he lived with his mother somewhere near the Junction pub, opposite the swimming baths and near to Scaitcliffe pit. His father had gone down in a ship during the war. I have an address for him but letters have gone unanswered and I have no phone number. I would dearly like to make contact with him, as he is fondly remembered by his schoolmates.

There have been several Westwells farming in Ossie.

Whilst on the matter of finding schoolmates, I seek information on the whereabouts of John Baron Walmesley , another lad in my year. He lived in Fielding Lane, Ossie. May have had a sister Anne.

I'm not familiar with the name but I'll mention it to my Dad (who I think was at Accy Grammar in the late '50s early '60s). If has any info I'll let you know.
