I remember Harry Riley as one of my brother's mates - he lived on Catlow Hall St at the Fielding Lane end.

Might there be a connection with the firm of EJ Riley, sports outfitters. If they are still goinmg (in Padiham?) they may be able to help. I have sent one off to Harry Riley.

Re: William Riley Family, Oswaldtwistle

Hary Riley has no knowledge of William & Audrey. He sends his best to Wuddy
If Whitey contacts the library ([email protected]) and provides his date of death, which can bge found using www.LancashireBMD, they will probably send him the obit lines in the Observer, which may gives his children's names. I think it likely that there are still some chaps golfing who were junior members in 1958.

Does Harry Riley remember Tony Foley? Used to work with him and watch Utd & Rovers in the 1960's.

I wonder if you are Tony Foley, or if I should ask him about two lads. I will PM you

Re: William Riley Family, Oswaldtwistle

I've got Harry to email Tony - a job well done. delighted to put some old pals in touch with each other. The last time they met was the last time that t'Clarets beat t'Rovers.
