Best place to buy wardrobe?

Tried MFI in blackburn who are reasonably priced but nothing in stock and looking at 3 weeks delivery on anything

Tried used shops and all have same answer... could have sold a dozen this week.. none in.

Tried B&Q and not only are they overpriced but look like they would fall apart in a kids room.

Any ideas? will travel.. just need reasonably priced wardrobe for teenage boy.

there is also davis' on blackburn road across from cheshire building society they may have something there.
or even try the evening telegraph at the weekend.
ebay with local pickup options or buy it now option.
happy hunting
needless to say i didn't realise teenage boys used wardboards i thought their option was to throw it on the floor in a corner!

Try The Range at Blackburn where the old B&Q used to be.

I have always found Ikea the best for student son, when and still in rented in Manchester. Reasonable and straightforward (no chintz . ) and appealed to young and old alike. Nearest, of course, Warrington, only 40 minutes though.

If it's just the wardrobe u want, don't take the wife! I/we ended up with a van full and an empty wallet by the time we/she had finished!

On the other hand if it was taskers...could'a been second morgage time!

Sounds like me when we go shopping, Ian dreads it, once went to Musbury Fabrics for some new towels, came back with an Antique Pine four poster bed.

If you are not adverse to Pine, try the little pine furniture shop in Accrington across from the market hall. I got one from there 2 weeks ago. Bought saturday morning it was delivered to my home saturday afternoon. You have a choice between flat packed or assembled. I was very satisfied with the furniture and the service.
