Budgie breeder

Does anyone know of a budgie breeder in the Hyndburn area or of a budgie that needs rehousing for any reason . A recently widowed friend of mine is looking for one .

Re: Budgie breeder

Have a look on Pets4Homes website Diane, there's one on there for rehoming currently lives in Preston so not too far away - 6 months old with cage, toys etc, they want £40 for him & says he needs someone who can spend more time with him than they can - looks a cutie, green & yellow colouring.

Re: Budgie breeder

P.s. A friend of mine says she thinks they have budgies at Pet Warehouse in Ossy, might be worth a try?

Re: Budgie breeder

Thanks for the replies. She went to Pet Warehouse and fell in love with a baby budgie , only a few weeks old , it is to be named Poppy . I am sure this little one will bring comfort to my friend .It will definitely be in a good home.

They will be good for each other.
My dear old Ma lost her little dog after having him for 21 years.
I have never seen anyone so miserable in my life.
She was 89 at the time and when I asked if I should look for another dog for her...she said she would wait and see.
After a month she got a two year old chihuahua and it was a transformation.

Not just older folk, pets are good for people in general to my mind. A home with pets whatever they be has a certain extra dimension to it that is hard to explain, pets bring a completeness to a house & home.

Yes Son, you are right.
I don't know what it is either, but the atmosphere is different when there is another living being in it.
Without it, it feels like 'dead space'.
I am not sure if that makes sense or whether that is close to what you mean.
When we lost Pasha the home felt really empty, even when we were in it.
I still miss her, but the new fur babies made a real difference.
