OH AND BE WARNED, I have the Lindam safety gates and my son could open them by putting his thumb into the lock part and 'popping' the lock from being about 18 months old. I am in the middle of getting argos to put safety warnings against them in the catalogue etc, cos although Lindam website has a guid saying do not leave unsupervised, Argos had nothing.

Its not that, kids are very cleaver and sometimes we dont realise how much, i got 2 lindam gates at home and although he hasnt learned how 2 open them yet it wont be long, i have realised that when i open the gates he looks at how i do it mmm i think its getting ready, i have a mothercare gate downstairs and its brilliant, u have to make holes 2 fit it in but so far is the best one i had
