Tropical Fish Tank / Setup Wanted

I am after a tropical fish tank / setup. Does anyone have or know of anyone who is getting rid of one?

Em when you do get it set up keep your eye on realcycle, theres been a fair few fish offered on there recently, if i still had my setup i'd have grabbed them

Yeah, i've noticed them too but at the mo only have freshwater fish (in a small ish tank) Am kinda hoping someone offers a set-up on realcycle but know the chances are slim lol. Can always live in hope

Be careful getting fish from people you don't know. There may be a good reason they don't want them. Also you don't know what diseases they may have. All good shop quarantine there fish before selling them to make sure they are healthy and pest free.

I would not want to chuck a couple of free fish in my tank and then loose others because they had something nasty.

I have been getting the fish from aquariums, bought 4 platys the yeasterday and now have 8 baby platys

mollies are nice as are guppies, plecs are good for eating algae

clown loach are great and rummy nose tetra's are good too, they like to be in a pack so if you get those get a few of them

Got a couple of mollies & guppies, 6 neons and 6 gold minnows, the platys (and babies) and a plec but the tank still looks empty, im sure that they all just hang around the sides so it keep thinking i need to buy more lol

pink toads are great an dif you get two teh same age / size they hold each other while they swim around

downside is they eat anything smaller than them so your guppies would last about 1 day lol

I have an albino frog in the goldfish tank and wanted to get some minows but they advised against it. Mum & Dad came with some fish today so i would say my tank is now well populated

Well for now anyway lol

those albino frogs/toads love guppies , they have left everyting else alone though

mind you mani once gave me aout 30 or so guppies and 1 frog had them all within 24 hours which is how i learned that they found them very yummy lol

soz btw mani but after a few weeks in guppies annonymous the albino hasnt relapse

damn u - here i was thinking they were living long and prosperous lives!!

i'm thinking of givin up the tank all together - i just dont have time for the filter cleaning etc...

i've got two golden barbs - quite large. lovely community fish a few neons, three black mollys, two peppered cory's, one golden sucking loach, one clown and two raphael catfish - i got them free after they hid under a log i bought!!

Can you keep clown fish in tropical tanks? I thought that they were marine fish :S

Oh well, the boys wanted nemo but they wont be having them in this tank
