Wanted: Dominoes
I am looking to buy a set of double six dominoes that includes the score counter thing so I can play 5's and 3's. My boyfriend's grandad taught me how to play recently and I want a set so I can play it when I'm not visiting.

Anyone have one for sale cheap that they no longer play?

Should be able to get a set from a sports shop blazey but the score board, well not sure there

you could possibly try the toy shop (might be toymaster) next door to Max Speilman in Blackburn if you are ever down here

Yes a cribbage board! They're a bit pricey to buy for what they are and I thought I'd see if anyone had an unwanted one, but I'm in Blackpool tomorrow so I'll have a look and see if I can find one there.

My dad taught us with double 9's. I think my mum has the set still somewhere ( They were bone ones).

I used to enjoy playing 3's and 5s as well

Twas my uncle Alf who taught me to play 3s and 5s, he wasn't my real uncle, but he felt like it because I saw him more than my relations, he was the Landlord of he Heys Inn

I still haven't got a set. I've not played with a set of double nines since I was little and sat in Springhill Club lol.

Its interesting that most Domino leagues around here always play with the double 9 set and always have to my knowledge. We are however one of the few areas in the Country that do, most play with the double 6 set!

I've heard someone tell that there used to be a set that went upto double 12, but i've never seen this myself!

Just go on fleabay, they start from £4 up to £30 for a good set. Cribbage boards are roughly the same money.

Never heard of a double 12 set Taggy, hell you'd have to get hand extensions to hold the bloody things, and JW and the cribbage board and occasionally cricket as well

The link you sent me had sets that went to double 15!? Did you not actually look at it lol?

Bit pricey though. I'll have a look in the charity shops tomorrow I think.
