never buy a second hand dvd writer and dont buy those cheap ones from emit
for best disk compatability and value for money i recomend the pioneer dvd writer pioneer 108 is a good solid writer i think they are up to pioneer 109 now a word of advice pioneer have 2 versions of each model they make you will see pioneer 108 and a pioneer A08 the difference is the A08 will be cheaper yet there is no difference between it than the 108 exept for with the 108 you get a ide cable and some trial software i have had liteon writers and each time had nothong but trouble and the bottom price writers are never realy any good like those from emit or pc worlds own brand i have tried many dvd writers and found pioneer to be the best and a i am not alone in thinking this as many hardware sites recomend them and people in review forums etc try www.vcdhelp.com and look for dvd writers in the left colum and read what people have to say about a writer before you buy http://digitalpromo.co.uk/erol.html Pioneer 109 16x DVDR/RW Multi Forma/Dual Layer DVD Recorder (OEM - No S/W) The very latest and fastest DVD burner available from Pioneer ...
