webcam wanted
does anyone have a webcam i can buy/borrow?
its my dads birthday on thursday and he would love to see his granddaughter, he's only seen photos so far. tia

I've got a spare you can borrow, but as has been said already, a camera can do the job, and it may be cheaper to buy a webcam than pick up one from this far away.

thanks everyone. i know they arent much but i'm getting my dad one for his birthday and i have to post it to ireland so can't really afford to buy another this week i do have a digital camera, how do i use it as a webcam?

Your digicam would have come with a driver CD that will allow you to connect it to the computer via USB or firewire.
Then you use a messaging client to access the camera. We'd need more info on the camera and the messaging application you use in order to provide more help... |
