Exclamation WW2 De-activated Russian Maxim Machine Gun

I have a Russian Maxim machine gun for sale that has been de-activated and comes complete with de-activation certificate. It is dated 1910 and was last during ww2 at Stalingrad. For more information visit me at my blog all about the 1940's and the Accrington Pals from ww1:

Am confused, is Stanlingrad now named after the place in North Yorkshire or the other way round?
