I got my standard apologies boll***s from the GOV/HMRC just now, so least i know im one of many on the list for sure not surprising.

i got the same letter as you, i think they are just sending them to everyone who is in reciept of child benefit, it doesnt help matters though does it, just hope that it all gets sorted out

i havent got one yet......... not sure if thats good or bad.... is it because i am not on the list or because they have lost my details and dont know to send me a letter....

They probably are in alphabetical batches.
I find that my friends get their winter fuel payments on Mondays during November - and I am in the last 25% - so have to wait until the last Monday.

It's more likely to be either your CB refce. number or your NI number that determines where you are on the list.

I also got mine two days ago and i'm T, wonder if they sent the Ss and Ts out together. But then again i don't hold much to box standard letters.

I would suggest that the person in charge of the fiasco is probably one of the biggest hand deliverers around

we r a d and got one today .25 million people one test case for compo for neglegence wins in court god help goverment.if i tell some one your personnel info without your permissuion iam breaking the law and can be sued,

I'm an S and got mine about 3 days ago!! Seems like a waste of money sending these letters out!! How much did the post itself cost em?/
