I'd say it is the outlook of our society the Tories and the media want us to believe.. the Tories are not talking about immigrants anymore .. they have shifted to their good old basics of bashing the majority of British people... bash any parents under 18yrs old even though they may be married or in a stable working relationship .. bash the most populated areas in the country.. the cuts they talk about will be in these areas.. no cuts in the leafy suburbs of any stockbrocker belts.

Last sentence should have read: less sense of morality than the average alley-cat! My indignant female feline chanced to walk across my keyboard as I was typing, hence the grammatical errors. The look she gave me assured me that perhaps she disagreed with my point of view!

to be honest this thread ain't kick up the fuss I hoped it would do.. perhaps if I'd just posted the normal Accy thread of slagging off young people.. or slagged off immigarnts, Chavs.. bad parking by Asians.. Gypsies and crime waves..we would have got the usuall response of slash burn and hang.. but when anyone dares to take a pop at the Tories you are on dry land here!

Couldn't you pretend that the offending figure was quoted by an Asian Tory politician? You'd probably get more of a response that way. "Coming over here, making up phoney statistics, who the hell do they think they are? They'll be making us all do calculations in urdu next..." etc etc etc.
