As well as the bigot that tries to stir things by playing on peoples, (often), unwarranted fears by making broad claims against a different group within society. I also dislike the people that go to the other extreme and in their simplistic view place a minority group on a pedestal thinking that making them a 'special case', will make 'these people' feel better.

Both these groups, are living within their own form of security bubble and are of no threat to the majority of society, but they are after all only a minor irritation.

What I really dislike is the type of people that are working for their own personal agenda's and manipulate the first two groups into an open disagreement so as to be able to take advantage of the situation resulting in an advancement of their own personal aims'.

This type of person is much, much rarer than those of the the first two groups however they are more likely to succeed because somehow although they offer nothing of real advantage to either of the first two groups they convince people they have only the best interest of others at heart.

These are the people that make life interesting and when they offer you their hand in friendship grasp it wholeheartedly they are going to take you on a ride of your life time but, when they give you your hand back count your fingers you may find they have kept the best digit for themselves!

Spot on Ken, and in most cases those people who are at the centre of the issue, don't have a problem with the satus quo in the first place, i.e muslims being offended my christmas, and wouldn't even think we should changed to Winter festival or the like on their behalf

I'll just put this to the forum as the epitome of PC Brigade conundrums: there is a Black Police Officer's Association and yet what would the reaction be if someone was to try and set up a White one? Is there a real subjective difference? Why is one racist and the other not?

If we all just got on with identifying and preventing actual real-life problems and fixing them in the simplest way rather than worrying over problems which don't exist we would probably have a better society.

Bang on, Ken. One only has to refer to muslims in whatever vein and you are accused of being bigotted, racist or being tied to some obscure political agenda which apparently upsets all those who would have you hung, drawn and quartered for even thinking something that they disagree with.
