Good job he is male or it would have had to be classed as a serious problem

Re: A Get Well message.

THANKYOU ALL FOR ALL YOUR GOOD WISHES
i have an infection in the side of my face and a lump has come up under my chin the side of my face is all swollen and its very painfull .
and so is my chin come to that.
it started on friday so had to put up with it till i could phone the doc's monday morning .
i phoned at 8-30am and told to come down for 10-30am and they would fit me in as an emergancy Dr Dixon is a very nice doctor and thinks he is a comedien anyway he did tell me what it was but cant remember and he said he would have to put me on a high dose of antibiotics so i am on 500mg Flucloxacillin 4 times a day for 2 weeks.
i think its a case of kill or cure as they are making me feel really sick but he did say they might and not to worry .
the only real problem is now i cant have a pint and i am due to go to Bruge in Belgium with less and peter on the ferry on thurs so it looks like j2o all the break.
thanks again

Get better soon Mick. Are you sailing Hull - Zeebrugge. If so its a fantastic sail and Belgium is beautiful.

Re: A Get Well message.

Excellent Mick, done that sail about 12 times. Its great as a mini-break too.
We dont tend to use the restuarant even though it is good value at £15 to eat as much as you can, lol. We usually have a KFC in Hull and then have a pizza at the coffee bar at about 10pm.

Re: A Get Well message.

We have done the Rotterdam and Amsterdam run too although found the Amsterdam one a long run as there is a 2 hour coach trip to get there and again on way back but did use the carvary on them and the food was great and as much as you can eat.
but on the Brugge trip we just take butties and eat in the cabin before hitting the bars hehe
but this time there is no smoking in any of the bars only outside on top deck so this is going to be fun ,

Re: A Get Well message.

Yes done the rotterdam run as well and noticed that that ship was more expensive for food, drinks etc than the Zeebrugge one. Wonder if it was because it was a newer ship, lol.
