A Lost day

BBC News - Samoa and Tokelau to skip a day for dateline change

Samoa are set to lose a day when they change their time zone from East to West, for trading reasons. When the clock strikes midnight on the 29th of December, the date will advance to the 31st, completely missing the 30th. I bet there are a few on here have done that themselves when they've completely missed a day and ending up with a thick head to boot

Re: A Lost day

so if you are in Samoa and have a particularly heavy night on vodka you could theoretically loose two days in 24 hours ?

edit:

im not sure if that made sense but then again i too was on vodka last night and although i havnt lost a day iv lost over half of one

It's a bit bad if your birthday happens to be on the 30th.

Lol..... is it eck!!! My birthday is on Leap Year and I miss mine 3 years out of 4. People whose birthdays are on the 30th should do what I do and celebrate on the 29th and the 31st.

At least you'll never have to lie about your age!

See what you mean, not bad though, if I were in her shoes I'd be 12
