Re: A plague of flies
I Live in Dawen (approx. 2.3 mile as the Fly Flies ) and have noticed an increase in flies .
I could cry :-( What a sad world we are in . hundreds of people suffer for one person's gain / Greed
I use Brookside most days and love it , I'll be there tonight to show my support.
This is a reply I had from Graham Jones MP
Graham has received a number of complaints about this issue and has taken it up with the council and the Environment Agency. We were told yesterday by the Environment Agency that they are very much aware of the problem and that it has high priority. They also said that this is a multi-agency issue as Hyndburn Borough Council and Lancashire County Council are also involved. We are to receive an update this week and as soon as we do I’ll email a copy to you.

Re: A plague of flies
The papers and the council report the plague of flies can be blamed on fly tipping, first where do you get that many flies to be able to tip them, and why dont they fly out of the wagon on the way to be tipped ?

If someone thinks they are worth tipping they must have performed a good service.
