A recent survey said People feared...
Quote:
A recent survey stated that the average person's greatest fear is having to give a speech in public. Somehow this ranked even higher than death which was third on the list. So, you're telling me that at a funeral, most people would rather be the guy in the coffin than have to stand up and give a eulogy.

hehehehe........

Re: A recent survey said People feared...
I always get nervous if I have to do a presentation though I'm usually ok once I start, I'd rather be the one doing the speech than the one in the coffin anyday.

The ultimate speech is the one that is done from the coffin.

Re: A recent survey said People feared...
Giving a speech doesn't worry me at all. In our church the talks in Sacrament meeting are all given by the individual members at the request of the Bishop. My main problem seems to be trying to keep to the time limit as I do tend to ramble on a bit.

Re: A recent survey said People feared...
I hate having give a speech. Worst is i have to speak in public quite often with the volunteer groups im involved in and meetings and im hopeless at it. Normally try to get someone else to do it for me.

Re: A recent survey said People feared...
doesn't bother me either. I quite often have to give ad-hoc presentations to groups of people.
