Who? Lincoin or Lincoln? Have to admit, I don't know who Lincoin was either  Maybe he was the guy on the grassy knoll  Read an article on the mathematics of coincidence a while back ... can't remember who wrote it, or where I read it (the memory is the second thing to go); but the author did mention this "strange history".
