Went in there this week bought some veg at 50p each paid for it and found I had been charged 68p each for it!
It took me half an hour of queing to be refunded the difference. I wasn't the only one either.
How many of us actually check our receipts before leaving the store especially if you are doing a weeks shopping and not just buying 'bits' like I did?

I always check my till receipt before leaving the shop I have bought goods in, and quite often have to query the price I have been charged.
I very rarely shop in Asda, find staff very unhelpful and can never find things I need. I did go into Asda on this Thursday for some things I had needed urgently and bought 3 packets of chesse (which were clearly marked on the shelf as being 3 packs for £3.00). I went throught the self service till and found that the price reduction had not been applied to my bill, i went th the customer services to query this, and was told I was mistaken about the price (without any checking of what I was saying about the prices marked on the shelves). So I said they could have all the cheese back and to give me a refund - which they did. I also told them I now knew why I normally shopped in Tesco. Do Asda not train their staff to answer customer's queries politely, or do they think because their turnover is so large, it doesn't matter if they offend some customers.
