At the cinema they show warnings from FACT (Federation Against Copyright Theft) which claim that piracy supports child prostitution rings and terrorism, amongst other undesirable things.

Of course, as you don't go to the cinema and prefer instead to steal the product, you wouldn't know that.

when you download its free your not funding anything.
If you buy a dodgy DVD or CD in a pub for example then that money might find in its way into a criminal organization. Download or buy the original in a high street shop and you won't fund any criminal or distasteful organization.
and I've seen the FACT thingy at cinemas ( yes I have been before )
It says you face an unlimited fine if you copy it. - I dont copy it after downloading it. - I watch it then bin it.

I think you have a very naive understanding of copyright theft, but I'm not going to spend anymore time on this.

If you worked all day making a product and a thief came along and took it for nothing, you would be up in arms about it. What's different about you? You steal other people's work and investment. Theres no justifying theft, however hard you try and then to boast about it on here just rubs people's noses in it.

You realise that the act of downloading it is making a copy on your pc though?

Re: Accrington Cinema

I prefer to go to blackburn cinema, mainly because i know the people that work there (aka co-workers) also i'm usually im Blackburn anyway. Someone mentioned Kids A.M, you may be surprised to know that Accy Kids A.M is the most successful Kids A.M in the north west.

Re: Accrington Cinema

blackburn is bigger and more choice than accy, but go to accy sometimes if the same film in on both, no point going all the way to blackburn, but if something is on in blackburn but not in accy then blackburn it is!!
