Oh that is terribly tragic. I feel sorry for anyone else who may have been involuntarily involved such as passengers or train driver.

Re: Accrington Drama?

It used to drive me mad when I lived in London, as people always chose to attempt suicide in the rush hour. I was once stuck in a tunnel, on a packed train, for four and a half hours. We would have happily helped the selfish idiot in his quest, if it meant we got home earlier.

Re: Accrington Drama?

I'm not being mean by the way, accusing people who attempt suicide in public places of being selfish, of course they aren't of sound mind. It's just that it creates a great deal of stress for other people, especially I presume for the driver of a train who runs over the body.

Re: Accrington Drama?

If someone wants to commit suicide they should do it in a way which doesn't involve other people. When they do these dramatic acts I don't believe they really want to die but maybe they don't know what they do want except that they need help of some kind.

Re: Accrington Drama?

Suicide is horrible, its a shame people have to go to these lengths to get the help they need. I think it'd take a hell of alot to get to the point of wanting to kill yourself, and I just wonder how friends and family fail to notice their loved ones get to that point. I guess sometimes it is spontaneous and you dont see the signs though, but I think more suicides could be prevented with a bit of attentiveness.
