Accrington Pals dramatisation

Advance notice

Oswaldtwistle Players and BBC Radio Lancashire are collaboratin to produce a radio dramatisation of the famous Accrington Pals play. It will be broadcast on 1st July which is the 90th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.

I'm telling you now in case anyone tries to take credit for it at a later time!

You don’t think there’s a touch of paranoia there Gayle do you, are you sure this diet isn’t having an adverse affect or something. Maybe a bit of game pie and chips will help………..

Sorry Katex - I've apologised by pm as well but thought a public apology necessary as well.

I set everything up with BBC Radio Lancs then went back to the committee to see if they were interested in us doing it. As producer I asked if they would have any objections if I put together the cast of the 1993 production when we did it. The rest of the committee didn't object so that's what I've done with a couple of additions to replace a few members who have sadly either passed away or simply left the society in that time.

Wasn't a deliberate slight to Katex as she's a fab actress.

She is a beautiful and talented Actress. And you left her out………….

S'okay Gayle, wasn't really angry .. just taken aback a little that's all. Good idea to use original cast, I think
