Re: accrington railway bridge
Thats only half of it. I may be wrong, "and if I am I must have been ******" but it has a gental curve to it. I love accy viraduct it one of those sights, like the coppice, that never leave you. But I'd rather be up Ribblehead with a couple of piants on a warm summer evening.

Re: accrington railway bridge
I'm pretty sure Todmorden's viaduct is stone built and curved.
Accy railway station, however, was one of only 6 of its type in the country. Anyone know? It's been on here on another thread before.

Awww, come on now, Mr T, Sir. Pray, do tell us.
A combination of Alzheimer's and general stoopidity denies me the chance of ever remembering why Accy Station is in such select company.

Re: accrington railway bridge
How many arches has ours got? I tried counting them once but gave it up as a bad job.
I should have some photos of Ribblehead somewhere too Doug. I'll have a hunt but it may be a while because I'm making a ring cushion as well as being on AccyWeb.
