There should be a ban on any more pound type discount stores..... if they keep on letting more and more in.... then the market will close:

The market sells nothing but Tat?

If I want Tat I go to a pound shop.

From the market I expect far better things.

No What I am trying to get across is: there are far too many of them and Market Traders can not compete with some ( not all of the prices ) plus at the end of the day there is only so much money to go round….. and these out of town discount stores are in fact taking away some of the market trade…

However if its cheaper then of course people will buy from them….

And no I am not saying all on the market is tat….. I ran a web site featuring the market for a good few years… and I have just taken a stall on in there with my partner…. We have a home made Victorian flower cart selling fresh cut flowers…. If I say it myself it certainly brightens up the entrance to the market Hall…

I have always done all I can to help promote the Market ….. I feel its such a shame that so many markets end up run down…. And in years to come unless people use them they will go….
