Re: Accy Observer
Living abroad - I can only read T'Observer online - I must admit the website (like the LT one) is pants. The decline of T'Ob might be due to sloppy journalism - inappropriate sensationalism - and the introduction of the woeful 'Hunks n Honey's section - as if T'Observer is FHM!!lol My pensioner mother is highly disgusted. But fair play you can only fill a paper with so many 'cat in tree' stories and 'grip n grin' photos - more local news, features and interesting articles might improve it - at the moment when i do get a chance to read the real thing - the first thing I look for is the court report and obits - (in case i know anyone)...

When I lived out west, my favorite read was "Farm, Light, and Power" or the Saskatoon Star-Kleenex

Out there on the frontier, you have to look at the bright side ... at those temps there aren't too many moskies, blow flies and black flies around ... and it doesn't smell as bad as it does at +35 Used to live in a little town called Kincaid, and they didn't get sewer and running water until the early 70s!!!!

Re: Accy Observer
To get back on topic, I checked out the Observer on line .... don't look all that bad ... different from what I remember; but so is the image I see in the mirror every morning.
