Any fiddling was done completely above the sheets, on the Lilipution sized keyboard.
As the elderly Asian lady with the bad wind, in the next bed to mine, will attest to.

Khaki battle dress, and as an added bonus
bully beef and hard tack, maybe an occasional
drop of rum when the shelling starts.
Pay, standard army WW1, 10 francs a day.
On Call 24/7. Leave 10 days off every 2 years
if your lucky. 4 days in trenches 4 days out, unless
jerry attacks. No TV, no radio, officers panicing and
sergeants balling & shouting, good chance of being
shot by either side.
What more do you want.
Retlaw.

She'll take it Sir, and will be standing by awaiting orders.
Though I will claim the tin of Bully Beef as my commission for securing Katex this job, and generous clothing allowance.

Re: accyweb: access denied at the library
You're a daft lot ...
Well at least the job comes with a uniform, saves me the headache of puzzling what to wear every morning ... and do rather suit the khaki military look, as long as comes with a decent leather belt and satin covered buttons.
We all hope you finish your task before you leave us Retlaw .. x
You can have the bully beef Garinda ... I'll keep the 'baccy.

You can have a leather belt, no satin buttons,
officers only, boots Leather for the use of,
one size too small, must be kept highly polished
at all times. Cigarettes, Woodbines only, when they
run out, its dried tea leaves and any paper you can find
to make your own.
No makeup allowed, again officers only.
Any infractions and its field punishment No2,
Disobedience to orders and its field punishment
No1.

Field punishment .. mmmm kinky ...
No make-up !! Wash yer mouth out with salt and water ....
Suppose the rum wasn't even Bacardi either !
Woodbine ... well, any port in a storm as they say.
Seriously though Retlaw, it might seem a facile 2 hours to you, but not to the user, who may be looking for jobs, etc., and even going on line to Accyweb or just 'mucking around the net' can give the user great pleasure and contact with the outside world, if you understand me. Just didn't think it very fair to criticise other users that's all.
