This question may sound daft to those who know, but what are they and how are they aquired?

If you do a search for ackers , there are lots of threads about aquiring them, and how we can spend them if the store comes back.

Re: Ackers
It should tell you in the ackers threads.
It's not on at the moment.
You could buy lots of things but not groceries.

Re: Ackers
Mick,
I knew nothing about the shop until Garinda's post.
Can you be more specific as to what it is for us newbies?

Re: Ackers
As you post and start threads you get ackers (money) you could then save them in the bank and get interest on it when you had enough ackers you could then go to the shop and get things link colour changes for your name or buy another member a drink which would show up on there profile you could also change the font of your name to fancy letters ect
we also had pets you could buy and look after and have battles you had to feed them and train them and take them to the vets all of which cost ackers
but if you had say 300 ackers in your pocket and did not spend it or bank it other members could steal it off you

Re: Ackers
Well in that case you will have to let me know when the Bank is open. There are to many dodgy people in here to afford to leave money lying about!!!!!!

Re: Ackers
Mmm your akers are not 100% safe in the bank.
I was made almost aker less during one change over.
Could have been bank robbers I suppose.

Re: Ackers
We have to work for a living on Accy web. I lost millions on the first bank changeover and never got it back. It's a good job we can only spend them on here, I'd have been brassed off if it was real money (It pee's me off if I loose a fiver).

Re: Ackers
It was hard work getting used to the revalued Ackers too after being so rich previously.
I wonder if the petz are missing us or ar they having such a good time they don't want to come back?
