Ackers
Just got 1000 Ackers. Don't know what these are, or what they're for. But, 1000 can't be bad.

Re: Ackers
They are the local currency of AccyWeb. We used to have petz and shops where you could buy things for them, and a bank where you could earn interest. I think we've just got the bookies at the mo.

This link will explain all about them, and how you can spend them if the shop ever comes back.

Congratulations by the way.

Re: Ackers
Ackers are/were accyweb money, the more posts you made the more you earned, the more you earned the more goodies you could buy from the accyweb shop.
Most people would use their ackers to purchase things for their virtual petz, Roy removed the stores and the bank and sent everyones petz on holiday to the animal sanctuary the last time he upgraded the software, with the promise that they would return shortly, (that, must be about 18 months ago now!), one of the many other things that could be done was to steal the ackers from the trusting and gullible souls that didn't put their Ackers into the bank.
You can learn alot more about both Ackers and petz if you do a search for the threads about them.

Re: Ackers
You automatically earn them for posts.
At one time we could nick them off each other too if we didn't get caught.

Re: Ackers
I'm an acker millionaire.
I have enough in the bank after my big Big Brother betting coup last year, to change someone elses user name if the shop comes back.

I bet the shop will come back and you could then spend your ackers on something good, like a big red user name.
