Re: Airlines

Out of interest do they charge extra for large people?

If not why do they charge extra for extra baggage?

Should light people be allowed more luggage than heavy people?

You could argue that a light person on a plane is more environmentally friendly than a heavy person on a plane. I am sure someone could work out how much CO2 is produced per kg of person per mile travelled.

Should light people get an eco tax reduction on flights?

Should heavy people be given an eco tax penalty?

This used to be the case in Canada, but a group appealed the charge to the courts, and now Canadian airlines are not allowed to charge extra money for the extra seats .... I would think that other major airlines would do this.

We have a tale to tell which will be reserved for a later date. All I can say is DO NOT send anybody flying with British Airways.

Lettie, why ever not BA. They are one of the most trusted and safest airlines in the whole world. I would have no hesitation flying ANY european carrier.
