I'm trying to take a peek to see if she's laid any more but she hasn't been out of the nesting box yet.
I think it might be too late to set up a web cam and I'm kicking myself for not having thought of it. Not to worry, I'll keep you all posted on progress.

re Junettas new egg / eggs , ok a dumb question here about hatching eggs , never having raised chickens or birds, can someone explain how when a bird lays eggs over several days how they all manage to hatch at around the same time and not a day apart .
maybe I need to watch more nature TV shows

Have you held it to a light to see if there is something in there?
we had a bird once who kept laying eggs and there was nowt in it
never did have any babies
