Re: An experiment in social engineering
Actually a friend 'e' mailed it to me, he sends me lots of interesting things and it struck such a chord with me that I thought it worth passing on.Took me ages to key it in!Good detective work, flashy, how do you backtrack to sources as you did?
It obviously strikes a chord with other people as well!

Re: An experiment in social engineering
Hey Gordon,
Doesn't matter, made people sit up, especially me, have shared it with people already and making them think! I still think it is Brill!

Re: An experiment in social engineering
It would appear that whatever the source, it is somewhere in the USA. What they don't have in the US are ASBO's and as the present government intends to abolish them, maybe they could do so with a flourish?
We all know that ASBO's come with holidays attached for the poor, deprived criminal underclass so maybe we should give every OAP an ASBO with the condition that a) they keep out of Accy every third saturday (that's when I'm there doing my shopping and b) they go on an all-expenses paid, two weeks adventure safari in Africa.
Everyone's a winner!

It is already world wide, as soon as you post on accyweb everything is read by google, yahoo, etc. and can be found in their pages if you care to look for them.
Doing a search for 'An experiment in social engineering', in google at the moment shows this thread as the fourth item on their first page about this topic.

If your mate emailed it to you why on earth did you re-type it rather than copy and paste it?
Also just to avoid this type of confusion about originality, mention at the end of your post that it was sent by a friend.
