Re: Animation Films.

u know a film can have the best animation ever but if the script aint right its no use. how bad were over the hedge and a few others i dont even want to remember. shrek 3 was just livign off shrek 1+2.

for me the crowning glory still has to be toy story 1+2 the first and i think its still the best out there. Pixar are in a league of their own when it comes to animation but thankfully you can tell they spend alot of time on scripts aswell as the graphics. all their movies get regular plays in our house from TS to monsters inc to finding nemo to bugs life.

its little wonder that disney rather than lose them made them partners.

Re: Animation Films.

Animated films are excellent especially for kids or even big kids They have come a long way since Walt Disney started. I didn't watch the one last night but I watched part one of the Terry Pratchett's The Colour of Magic on Sky 1 HD part two is on tonight at 6pm. It's a follow on from Hogfather irst screened in 2006 both staring David Jason, if you get te chance its wel worth the trip.

I think Toy Story has got to be my favourite, although Madagascar runs a close second. Also love Shrek although I think the second & third films were nowhere near as good as the first one.

They don`t get any better than the Disney/Pixar films, with each one the CGI gets better,on their latest one Ratatouille the animation is simply stunning.

Have to agree with Jaysay, the Terry Pratchett adaptations are fantastic.
I am huge fan of his and think they are wonderful entertainment for all the family(though i think some of it might go over kids heads!)

I agree with this, but think that is the beauty of these films, encourages parents to watch them with thier kids, and the films have more meaning for the children every time they watch.

Re: Animation Films.

I'm more than happy to say I don't need an excuse to watch Disney films as I am proud to say a love them. I own quite a few of them. My favourite has to be Monsters inc. which is run close by one of the old classics, Robin Hood!!!! But I love some of the less popular releases like Hercules and A Bugs Life too. Got to say though the more I watch Ratatouille the more impressed I am with it.

All I've got to do is ingrain them into Emily now and it'll be perfection!!!
