They think there could be a connection with Madeleine. If they can get a good follow-up this time maybe they'll be able to find them both. Wouldn't that be wonderful?

Think they said on the news it was only about 100 miles from where Madeleine was

Terrible.

However I wonder how many times this has been done without the media hype.

A five year old going to the shop alone, WHAT, my daughter is 5 and I wont let he out of my site unless I know she is with someone who I trust.

if that turns out to be the case n they scoop em, that would exonerate madelines parents. but IF is the biggest two letter word. whatever hope the child is found safe.

I hope they find the child alive and well. On the downside, do the police not work from a general rule of thumb in such cases ( if one can ever work by rule of thumb ) if a child has been missing for 72 hours or so and still not found alive, then it is unlikely to find that child alive. Stand to be corrected.

Doubt that they are linked, there are bound to be many children who have gone missing who haven't been mentioned in the media.

Hope the childs found safe and well.
