I played cowboys and injuns as a child and had toy guns and bows and arrows (with suction cups on the end) and my friend had one of those plastic knives where the blade retraced into the handle and it looked like you'd really stabbed the person but none of us grew up wanting to do it for real. We knew the difference between reality and imagination.

I was quite surprised to see my daughter's English literature is all full of misery, violence and death. I'm sure we didn't have such morbid subjects in school when I was a teenager.

No cashy I can't go any further Getting back on thread where do you think these alleged 13year olds got their ideas from, to deliberatly stalk and then unmercyfully butcher this 16 year old young man is competely off the scale, I only hope that the sentences dished out to the killers reflects the gravity of the crime, but I somehow doubt it will. This country suffers from the 'do gooder' syndrome, the fact is they do no good, only mean well, or do they?

in all honesty ianto i think they get it from TV, Video Games,Films and the like,cos they are allowed to watch them when they are young and impressionable.also going back to what i said in post 14 also.
