Exclamation Anyone had a caravan nicked?

Lancashire Police have uncovered 30 Caravans stolen in the UK on camp sites in Benidorm.

I know a couple who had thiers nicked from manchester road, and am going to ring them now!

There are secure parking or over wintering facilities for caravans around town. A few years ago there would have been no need for such places. Guess that’s progress.

You're right, it is serious stuff. Not really a cheap way of having family holidays anymore. Lots of those new caravans cost more than what I paid for this house, absolutely lovely some of them.

If I was to fork out thousands for one, I dont think I would be leaving it at the roadside with a £30 hitch lock on as my last line of defence.

from the original news item " There are thousands of people on the Costa Blanca who live in caravans and are unaware of their history." sounds like another reason not to plan a visit , kind of sounds like that dump near the Nuclear power station near Morcambe

There are some very nice camp sites near Benidorm with really top of the range facilities. Just a pity about the knocked of vans.Nearly bought one not long ago,glad I didn't
