Are they or aren't they?

I was thinking the other day that I am seeing a lot of eastern european registered cars around town. I guess its all those that Xpress Gifts employed. Now I know that on my insurance I get 30 days european cover to drive abroad. My thought is how many of these cars are beyond the 30 days(if they have that entitlement on their insurance) and who is checking that they have all the necessary documents to drive legally in this country. At best we would only find out if they damaged another car, at worst I would hate for one of them to seriously hurt someone and have no insurance to pay out damages needed to sustain a comfortable life.

Re: Are they or aren't they?

well if they are relying on expreess gifts wages to live on and insure a car they are going to be in for a shock

i think the best solution to express gifts staff shortage would have been to burn the dump to the ground and claim on the insurence because its been made blatently clear that the people of accrington think they are unworthy of anyones time and they are %100 correct

I think that is what I was geting at, wouldn't it be admireable if our plod were to target foreign plated cars to make sure they are roadworthy and legal

Won't happen though

Re: Are they or aren't they?

well i have personaly witnessed traffic police drive straight past a car parked on double yellow lines at a set of traffic lights and not do a damn thing about it and i even shouted to them pointing at the car and the officer simply shrugged his shoulders

traffic laws dont apply to blackburn road so why should they apply to cars with foreighn number plates
