Are You Sure?

So there I was after a really good night at the accyweb meet wandering towards the Stag to claim a hair of the dog.
I had just walked round the corner onto Tanpits Rd and towards me was heading a rather nice BMW with a personal number plate,
P 1 KCR
I was trying to work out the meaning of it but couldn't make sense of it. However it pulled up next to me and the Lady passenger in a very plummy voice enquired for directions to Oswaldtwistle Mills, as with many strangers to the area she had difficulty pronouncing Oswaldtwistle, I said, "Ah, Ossy Mills",
she immediatly interrupted with, "are you sure?", I replied that I was sure I live round here and thats what we called it, again the question, "are you sure?", "yes", I replied and started giving directions with each turn I described she asked, "are you sure?", by the time I had given directions I was getting a little annoyed.

So just before they drove off I asked, "private number plate?", "yes", she replied quite proudly, "Oh in that case can I just ask, why do you have an anagram of Prick on the front of your car?".

I don't think she was sure about the answer to that either!

Re: Are You Sure?

I'd have said 'Oh, you mean the Bubble Factory.'

Which would have really pricked her bubble.

Re: Are You Sure?

Or you could of really confused her by saying... Ossy Mills? The Bubble Factory? Or The Calico Shop?

Hehe.

That is one heck of a coincidence katex!
Mainly because that wasn't the actual number plate, the one I really saw was:-

PLL 1O CK
(I'll let you work it out!)

I changed the lettering so as not to associate it with any person living or dead! (In todays society we can't be too careful about libel actions! (Oops, I've gone and left myself wide open!)).

Took me a while to work this out Hatter, do you mean you think she imagined it ?? Well, could be was a similar number plate that she caught in the corner of her eye and became as the one we were discussing. The one thing that clinched it for me was that she said was a BMW and had not mentioned the make of the car to her.

Less: Not sure which one is the wind up here ... you little tease
