Not sure how reliable this info is but the chap at the caravan takeaway by the market, suggested that an armed robbery was carried out at the HSBC bank and the robbers got away with half a million pound!

Even if no-one was hurt, I'm sure it must have been extremely frightening for the securicor guards.

Until we get something definite could I just suggest that they got away with enough to clear the national debt?

Got to agree about how frightening it would have been. It is serious whether anybody was hurt or not

What do you mean by 'female security got assaulted but nothing serious'? a person has been assaulted, i think that's damn serious. Must be traumatic for the staff. Hope they soon get the person/people who did it.

I think that Mani's referring to reports in the press that a security guard was assaulted, but not seriously injured.

1/2 a million quid!, there isn't so much money in all the banks in Accrington, never mind one bank.
