Army cuts-being sensitive?
It was in(I think) the Sunday Express, that the government will get rid of the Coldstream Guards, the oldest regiment in the UK with a marvellous history.
Not the Scots Guards, the Welsh Guards or the Irish Guards!
Reason quoted by a 'spokesman'-getting rid of one of those three would affect 'regional sensitivities'!
So don't the English have any sensitivity? Or is it we are frightened of offending the very 'regions' that keep demanding independence? If so, why?
