Bank transfer

If i wanted to transfer 3,000 pounds to another account could i do it over the phone?

If you have telephone banking set up, then yes. If you have internet banking set up, you can do it online.

yours or some 3rd party?

There are limits set on 3rd party transfers that could stop it over telephone banking. These were brought in to stop money laundering and are not defined by teh banks so don't blame them if they are obeying UK GOV rules.
