I don't know how much credence to give to this story. It may be something of National significance or it may be just idle speculation.

It concerns the death of the weapons analyst Dr. David Kelly, who, you may recall, was said to have committed suicide after being grilled by a House of Commons Select Committee.

It appeared to me at the time that there was a lot more to this case than was being said in public; it seemed such a trivial reason for taking ones own life. Anyway, see what you think...

It a good job some of us live in the real world, I have just had a browse on the web site and thought it was one of those spoof ones that are put out by private eye or similar, I was having a good laugh at the story about Mexican Commandos and this guy who seems to have handled every problem the dea every had and then I listened to him on the radio feed and if he's ever lived in Mexico he needs to teach the rest of the Mexicans how to loss there accents. If this isn't a spoof it should be.

i always thought it was a cowards way out to commit suicide,,maybe he was bumped off.

i am a great sceptic about a lot of things but a i actualy believe there is at least some truth in this story

I remember reading that the paramedics who were called to the scene found very little blood.......despite the fact that there were incisions in his wrists.

I wouldn't put anything past this slimy government.

I said at the time that it didn't seem like a suicide. It was all covered up far too quickly too, very suspicious.

I found it very odd at the time that ALL the media coverage was of exactly the same story with no deviation at all and as we all know that rarely happens as hyped up info usually takes over the press

i have never believed dr.kelly topped himself,nor am i ever tempted to believe much that is printed in the media,but i think there is some truth in this report,it will be interesting to see which DAILY picks up on it if ANY.

newspapers are too scared to stand up to govenment these days and in my opinion are controlled by the govenment or at least on a very short leash

You wont be for long, it is being stopped ( because too many people are using it to commit suicide according to out GP ) so you wont be able to get it anymore

i dont see the point in removing a drug that works just because some people use it as their choice of suicide

anyone who realy wants to kill themselves will find a way no matter what you do to try and prevent it

I too thought there was something 'not right' about Dr Kelly's demise, so I think there is some truth in the article but it will be years before what happened is released to us mere mortals.

As far as co proximal is concerned why take it off the market when it works? They haven't banned paracetamol which kills or seriously damages people, who want to harm themselves, every year & is much easier to get hold of.

But they have limited the quantities which you can buy in any one go. Not that such action makes any sense because what's to stop someone going into several shops and buying a few in each? Stopping people from using a painkiller which thy need just because some others have used it to commit suicide is stupid but doesn't surprise me. It's a s daft as thinking banning guns will stop criminals using them, or banning a car theif from driving.

It will probably be anothr 50 years or more before the truth is out about David Kelly. Somewhere there'll be a "Top Secret" file with a date on it.

I wouldn't believe a word of it if I were you. Tragic as the incident was, it's even more tragic to make conspiracy theories out of it.

Let the poor man's family recover on their own terms, without dredging this sort of thing up.

I notice this is yet another American crackpot conspiracy site, the only section missing being the bit that says it was the Aliens 'wot killed him.
