Beer Mats

To all drinkers and pub landlords viewing this thread. Did you realise that the leading manufacturer of beer mats in this country is right on your doorstep?
Absorbent Dripmats (or Nayler the Printer) at Church Kirk. Worked for them for a total of 7 years in all. Used to get together a package of around 50 beer mats for collectors @ £ 1 plus P & P. Gawd wish I had kept some now, bet they are selling like hot cakes on E-Bay now.

I've got a small collection going on my wardrobe...the classics dont seem to be in circulation anymore - you know the ones with the sarcastic drinkers quotes on and stuff

I used to have one that my dad got when he was in the RAF it said:

"Don't drink and drive ............. you'll spill it"

I don't think it'd go down well these days

I used to have hundreds,,,,,,,,and then left them in a shed when i moved about 15 years ago.

Easy and simple here,Best resort in the world.

I might go out on a pub crawl,get drunk and collect beermats and see how many i come home with!!
