Hey there,s now,t up with a pair drop,they was right good, but up here in ossy we use,t to like jam butty,s and i still eat them.

Well HR .. the thing is us Lancashire folk are not very good at diphthongs ya' see .. our dialect is made up of very flat vowels.

Coat should not be pronounced as .. cawt, but as cohut .. not quite correct, but no pronunciation symbols available, words like day turn into daaa not dayi .. oh hek, so difficult in text Sure you understand. Worst culprit is words like 'like'. Have noticed that you have very strong verbal diphthongs in your accent and can understand the confusion, but hell, as long as we all understand each other what does it matter...

Sure the ref. understands exactly what you mean when you shout Dumbo or summat .. LOL

Ha ha ha, dumbo I think not!!! Think stronger gal

Yes you have hit the nail on the head with the coat and people love to pick up on the way I say it...but what's a girl to do eh?
