Just reminded me of the one for an air freshener where the little oriental boy is sat on the loo and the indication is that he has left an odour ... will this be shown by his mum to girl friends as he gets older ... ya know, new twist to baby photos ... poor kid.

Re: Best and worst adverts????
Best: (all time) Either...
Hamlet cigars with Gregor Fisher in a photo booth (it's happened to all of us)
Smash with the martians
R. Whites Lemonade
and... a classic naff ad... Shake 'n' Vac
Best: Current
(Think it was an ad for a TV) it shows shots of the streets of San Franscisco with lots and lots of coloured balls bouncing down the street - I love the soundtrack to that.
The newest 'nobbys crisps' ad - where Noddy Holder is wearing a pair of huge platforms (so he's standing about 5' off the ground) and is holding a bag of crisps and there are 3 blokes that can't reach them (saw that at the weekend and it made me laff)
(there must be more, just can't think of any)
Worst: Current
Anything to do with skincare, shampoo, hair products (male or female) or anything advertising financial assistance or insurance.

Re: Best and worst adverts????
Worst? All of the insurance, loans, credit cards and "no win, no fee" things with boring people and boring settings just waffling on at you. How unimaginative they all are. And that awful car with the huge bum.
Favourites? Can't think of one off hand so they obviously don't impress me much.

I can't think of many ad's I like at the moment,
but this site:-
http://www.complete****e.com/davethewave-adverts/
Has a few old goodies, such as the guinness twins and carling black label.
Just to let you know you will have to copy and paste the url then replace the stars with the letters s,h,i,t

.... plus (I keep thinking of more) ... I hate the car ad with the "Happy Days" theme tune over it. As soon as I hear it I'm scrabbling for the remote so I can mute it. Most annoying tune ever.
I like all the 'Flash' ads with that cockney bloke - Karl someone. They're quite funny.

Re: Best and worst adverts????
I have to say I have caught a few ads recently (been poorly sick ). Love the velvet toilet roll advert with the small child in a suit, it just makes me laugh every time . Hate the sheilas wheels, it really does grind on my nerves .

Re: Best and worst adverts????
Thought of another one yesterday that is from a while back.
The Yorkie ad where this girl goes into the newsagents dressed as a bloke and tries to buy a Yorkie and the guy behind the counter asks her questions such as explaining the offside rule to verify she's really a bloke before he will sell her one.
Just made me smile each time I saw it

Re: Best and worst adverts????
I like the one with the young boys taking the adult roles (is it Citroen?). The latest one, with the new neighbour showing off his car, always makes me laugh - especially the muttered line, "New house, new car, somebody's doin' all right", with a knowing nod.
Can't stand the one where mother says to daughter "I'm feeling a little bloated today", (Actimel?). I mean, she'd say, "Ooh, I've got terrible wind", while her daughter backed away, wouldn't she?
