Best Book

On my recent holiday nightmare i took the book by Stuart MacConie, radio 2 DJ,music critic & TV low key personality. The name of the book...'Pies & Preduice. An absolutley brilliant & side splitting read about a northen lad who's trying to re discover his northen roots after living southwards .Accy,Ossy Hollands pies get a mention(albiet briefly),as the author is from Wigan, the pie capital of blighty. He defends the north from how it was'nt just the queen mum & london who won the 2nd world war,how you cant get a steak pud(never mind a black one)down south. The real reason the Mancs & Scousers hate each other(about 200 years before Rooney).A fantastic read.Read hios previous 'Cider with roadies'.Another side splitting & factual account of his time as a (mainly) music journalist.Fantastic
