My mates mum got pulled over this morning on the way down the M65 for not having any insurance. She got zapped by one of those new devices that checks number plates. Only problem was she did have insurance and argued blind with the Police that they had it wrong but was asked to produce her documents to the Police Station.
By the time the Policeman let her go it was too late and she had missed an extremely important meeting at work where people had travelled some distance to get too and as a result of this has she thinks she has lost her opportunity for the contract she was hoping for. I wonder if they offer compensation in these instances?

I think we should all have to carry the cars documents when we are driving like they do in Spain. Save all the producer messing about. She would have shown her documents and been away.

Yes I agree also I'm not disputing them pulling her over and I agree that is what should be done. But she was pulled over because it flashed up on their records that she had no insurance, when she did, and somehow this had been missed from the system which isn't her fault and has maybe cost her. Just bad luck I guess.
