Nah, no refund as they will need to pay them overtime to collect it on Sunday instead!

How can they pay overtime if they have not done their contractual hours for the week. By definition overtime means over your contractual hours. They should be on single time until they go over their normal hours.

pay them propper then , iv heard about this on the radio today and people were saying everone is struggleing and getting rubbish payrises
good for them for striking to get what they want and 1 day off school is not depriving a child of an education you little drama queen you

Looking that way By the way Andrew my sister is on of the people who was on strike, she is a nursery nurse and I can assure you she is one of the most decent people you could ever wish to meet. She certainly is not celebrating about the children missing nursery but she like others expects a decent standard of living and taking a cut in wages when prices are rising as they are is not conducive to that end!!!!

If one thing is clear, people don't want increased council tax, or fewer services.
Browns tax and spend-everything-we-have policy has left us in a very difficult situation.

Cashy....how many times can you count on one, or maybe two hands that someone in Spain tried to get into your back pocket? and when you returned to the UK, do you not look after your interests as a priority above all else?
