Seen Blood Brothers twice, it's fantastic and well worth a night out to see. Glad you enjoyed it F.C. Stanley..

I left Liverpool in '86, so would never have seen you, but I was never away from the Everyman, both the theatre and bar, for three years, and it helped living on the same street, when it came to getting home.
I first saw Blood Brothers in 1983 at the Liverpool Playhouse, with Barbara Dickson playing the lead. A fantastic piece of theatre. Glad you enjoyed it.

Re: Blood brothers
Yes, it's good, isn't it ? never actually seen a professional performance though, will try and make it to Man .. thanks F.C.
Once met Willy Russell (the author) .. was the speaker at a luncheon I attended. I rushed up to him like a sad groupie asking for his authograph as my son was studying his Trilogy "Blah, Blah Blah" .. he kindly looked at me, although with a puzzled look on his face, and duly signed some scrap of paper from my handbag.
Was excited to show teenage son my prize, and he calmly explained "Mum, it isn't Willy Russell, but ....... ?" Forgotten who the hek it was now!! What a pratt I felt.
