Post Blooming heather

All right you Accy lot that keep complaining about how miserable and horrid the town is. I was there this weekend and I don't know what you're complaining about - blazing sunshine, everyone in a good mood and, what struck me the most was the beautiful scenery - the heather's out on the surrounding hills and it's gorgeous, so get your walking shoes on and get up that Coppice. You don't know you were born half of ya!!

Most of us don't live in the vacinity of these beautiful views though!   Yhe sun shining on a derelict terrace with rubbish strewn gardens does nothing for me.  ;D

That said, we are in a good spot in that we don't have far to go to find some. Coppice, near to lovely countryside, close to the coast, some good canal walks, plus more historic architecture in our town than a lot of people realise.
